Test Sermon: Trusting God in Uncertain Times

Scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”

Introduction:
Sometimes life takes unexpected turns — plans fail, uncertainty rises, and fear tries to take over. But in these moments, the Word reminds us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts.

Main Message:

  • Trust is not about knowing the outcome — it’s about knowing the One who holds the outcome.

  • God doesn’t ask us to understand everything; He asks us to surrender everything.

  • When we submit our ways to Him, He will lead us — even when the path ahead seems unclear.

Application:
This week, let us practice trusting God:

  • In our decisions

  • In our struggles

  • In our waiting

Ask yourself: Am I trusting my own plan or leaning into God’s?

Closing Prayer:
“Lord, help us to trust You more. Even when we don’t see the whole picture, remind us that You are good, You are faithful, and You are in control. Amen.”
